“Turn the Other Way and RUN, As Fast as You Can.”

We had to travel last minute for a funeral and tried to save money by going to the Ramada. The neighborhood is sketchy, at best. Our non-smoking room smelled of smoke and urine. The security bar on the doors was broken, as was the slider screen and locks. The carpets had not been vacuumed and the bedspreads and sheets were stained. We tried making the best of it and went to purchase new sheets and blankets. When we returned to the hotel, my 7 year old child got the wonderful experience of having a hooker stumble by us with a drunk gentleman groping her in front of us. They were our neighbors. I instantly called Ramada cust svc and was told they apologized but could not refund us for the 3 nights. We spent a total of 30 min in thr room. The best thing about that Ramada is the view from the rear view mirror when leaving. Will never book at another Ramada.

“RIPPED OFF BECAUSE OF OCTOBER STORM”

During the October storm the year myself , husband and child went to the the Ramada because we had no power for overr a week. there were many people with the same situation we waited in line for over an hour. I have stayed here befor because It always costed 79.00, whic is clearly stated on there sign outside When I received my bill it was for 119.00 a night. Which I believe is illegal They clearly took advantake of people that had not power. I have tryed to contact manager several time and had no response I will not be returning unless we receive a refund. I do believe this is criminal

“Convenient, but not great”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

I chose this hotel because it was convenient to the airport, and I had an early morning flight (5:30 a.m. departure). The weather was not going to be good for early morning driving, so I made the reservation at the last minute.

The price was reasonable, and there was a restaurant in the hotel which did their room service. The room was clean, but it wasn't - there were stains on the carpeting, stains on the bedspread, stains on the chair. The bathroom was clean, but the sink had seen better days. The room service was reasonable, but they didn't provide any utensils or napkins. I ended up using one of the washcloths as a napkin. Luckily, I ordered a burger and didn't need a fork for the french fries, but it would have been nice to have a knife to cut the burger in half.

As I had an early flight, I was checking out of the hotel at about 4:15 a.m. It took a few minutes for the desk clerk to come out of her 'office' to check me out. When you know you have people leaving that early (I did make a point of letting the clerk who checked me in know this), you would think they would be prepared.

I doubt I'll stay here again, despite the convenience and price. There are other hotels in the area at about the same price point.

“Can't recommend -- Consider an alternative”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 November 2011

The front desk attendant was friendly, but it was obvious that she was the only one there at 6:00 PM. The "Lobby" of this Ramada Inn is basically a sports bar/tavern. It is not upscale.

The main problem with the hotel is that it just feels dirty. The hallways look dirty and the rooms are in poor condition. My sheets felt thin, the table lamp was burnt out and there was no extra blanket. I didn't get cold however because I had to run the heater fan at full blast in order to drown out the voices coming from the couple in the room next door.

The staff members that I interfaced with were pleasant, and they did their best to be accomodating.

A colleague of mine booked this hotel for us at the last minute because it was so close to the airport. There are quite a few places within a few miles however, and the next time I'm in the area I will look a bit further afield to find something better.

“Terrible Expierence”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2011

This was far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Across from my room there was some kind of porn shoot going on with large cameras and lights and seedy looking people outside the room waiting there turn. Asked for an ashtray for my room I was told to use a cup with water. Reported phone not working wanted room service was told to go to dinning room to place my order. The only plus to this hotel was the indoor pool.

Room Tip: find a diffrent hotel
