My husband and I stayed here one night because he had to give a talk nearby. It was a little difficult to find a hotel that sounded good so we thought we'd try a B&B, even though we're really hotel people. This B&B is perfection. It had burned badly in 1996 and the reno took 6 years but has been done to wonderfully. I couldn't find one flaw and I'm kind of fussy. The inn keepers were very friendly but not overbearing. The room (Cupid) was delightful and the bathroom state of the art. Loved the instant hot water in the shower. Breakfast was very tasty and served hot. The little town of Wethersfield is also very picturesque and from the hotel you can walk and walk on sidewalks. There is an elevator for those who don't like stairs. Hope to return some day. The only little negative was that the bed, even though king-sized could have been a little plumper & my husband said the internet was too slow.
