“Nice room - Uncomfortable pillows.”

We stayed at a standard room at the Mohegan Sun hotel in January 2012. The room was large, much larger than we needed. The bathroom was just as large. The only thing I would advise is to bring your own pillow. The pillows they had were very hard and I barely slept because of it. The rooms were pretty quiet, there were two rooms having a party down the hall and we didn't hear them while in out room.

The staff was kind. They have 24 hr. room service (nice!). There was a mini-bar in the room as well.

Room Tip: As for a room with a view of the river, otherwise you'll get one with a view of the casino roof.

“A Perfect trip ruined”

Stayed at Mohegan 1/30/12 and my wife and i had a great time in casino and great food at there many outlets. The hotel is another story.I woke up 1/2/12 and noticed a rash on foot and lower leg.I did not let it bother me and we went home. That afternoon itch and rash were worse.Went to our local clinic and were told this was from bug bites. I had them take some pictures and went home and emailed Mohegan the info.Very simple reply saying some one from hotel managment would be in touch with me.( NOTHING) I am a 70 yr old and would like to have a few more yrs but you never know who the last person those critters were biting and what sickness they had. I feel that i am being treated like someone trying to grab a free night from them. Why in gods name would i want to stay there again!!

“if you cant get to vegas, get to mohegan sun”

this is an enormous place and great if you live in the northeast and can't get to vegas. the casinos are great and the food and shopping is amazing. however one of the best experiences i had was actually during a snowstorm... and got stuck there with my family... i reluctantly coughed up 500$$ /night for there signature suite... was i glad this place had LUXURY TO THE Y. 50" plasma, bose surround sound, conference room, 1400 sq ft.... truly felt like a royal celebrity.

“Best Casino to visit!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

We had 2 choices. Mohegan Sun or Atlantic City. We finally decided to go to Mohegan Sun and I'm glad we went there. There is everything you need in Mohegan Sun. Shopping, food, entertainment and most importantly, all the slots and tables games we enjoy playing.

We stayed at a nice hotel in Groton, CT to save some money because the price for a hotel room in Mohegan was way too expensive. However, I'm sure the rooms in Mohegan are wonderful. We ate at a nice seafood restaurant on the second floor where all the shopping is. Food was great. We did a lot of walking around and a lot of shopping. We played slots and while we were playing, they have a live band playing in the center of the casino. What more can you ask for. Would definitely visit again.

“Horrible Customer Service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

I booked a room for two days in January 2011 and because of a snowstorm moved my reservation up one day. I never check my points but my wife just checked them and saw I was minus points. Emailed them and was told I never cancelled the day that it snowed even though I arrived the next day and was never told by the front desk that I did not show the day before. I had called the hotel but whoever I spoke to did not cancel my room for that night. I guess Mohegan Suns' motto is the customer is not right. Will not go back there, there are plenty of casinos that will be happy to take our money.
