As Days Inns go this one is fine, seems pretty new. We are on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. My wife and I take a small suitcase each , and a large one each, and just add and subtract every 2-3 days. We had planned on bringing in the large ones but decided to wait until tomorrow night. They DO have free and easy WiFi.

we were 'on the road' and had not booked anything, so were looking for somewhere to stay the night. Days Innsare quite well known, but we do not know if their Head office knows about this one. the friendly reception people did not make up for the tired and barely acceptable room. The Mexican style restaurant was not much better. We did have a full breakfast next morning, but was shambolic with just a small boy helping to serve at the tables, with little in the way of dining room organisation.

We stayed for 6 days. We were worried after reading several of the online reviews, especially about bed bugs and foul smells from all the smoking. We were very pleased to see a clean room, no bedbugs, and no smoke smell. We took advantage of the fridge, microwave, and wireless internet. We stayed on second floor in 219. It was a nice room with a comfortable bed. Cable TV has 50 channels. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

We stayed in Torrington for several nights at the Days Inn. There are very few commercial hotel chains in the area, but the Days Inn was clean, reasonably priced and the family that manages it were very friendly and helpful.
