New hotel, with nice contemporary decor. We had a smaller room for a small price $ 99!
but the room was nicely decorated, bathroom was nice, and breakfast was nice and included, as was the parking.
It does not have the same quality of sheets that you expect at the Hilton or Sheraton, but hey, for $ 99 you even have breakfast (warm and cold) included!
Toiletries were nice, but we could have used an extra towel ( you get two of each size) the only remark I have about the bathroom was the mold in the shower caulking which could have been easily treated. The bed was a bit narrow (but cozy). Will go back for sure. Location is great in walking distance of downtown.

We had some business at Stamford CT and booked five nights at Hotel Zero Degrees. The building used to be a YMCA hostel. In 2009 it was refurbished and remodelled into a beautiful modern boutique hotel. The rooms are big and very well appointed and decorated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast (Included) is plentiful and fresh. I would recommend this hotel as a base for anyone doing business nearby or exploring the area. The prices are extremely reasonable - probably a fifth of what an equal room would cost in NY. This opens up a whole new way to visit NY. Take the train (Two blocks away from the hotel) and 35 to 40 minutes later you are in the center of Manhattan. Enjoy the city and take the train back home to this cozy home-away-from-home gem. And by the way, the whole range of YMCA facilities, including a full size swimmming pool, is free for hotel guests. Did I mention free underground parking? Unbeatable!!

My wife and I were very happy to have discovered this hotel, which absolutely exceeded our expectations. The rooms were very comfortable and well-appointed. Plus, the front desk staff made us feel very welcome, which was especially nice after a seven hour drive through a snowstorm (which in good weather would have taken only four hours)! Having inside parking and a satisfying breakfast included in the price of the room was a much appreciated bonus. In fact, my wife and I liked the hotel so much that we’ve already talked about staying there the next time we decide to visit NYC – and just taking the train back and forth into the city!

If this hotel was in New York or London it would be double the current rack rate.
Free parking. Quick and pleasant check in. Room was v nice, I booked a king room, great bed, bathroom, can't fault the room.
If you decide to order room service you have to look at several menus in the room that can be delivered to your room from local restaurants. Different, but no problem.
Breakfast was a buffet style on paper plates. Not my cup of tea !
It's very difficult for me to grade the service as only spoke to people at check in and check out.
A good place to stay though to explore Stamford.
