I recently stayed at this hotel and it was not at all what I expected. I booked two rooms and they put me on two different floors. I guess they thought I didn't want to be with my friends during my vacation. Granted they changed the floors and we where together but I was blessed with the room that gave me bites. I don't know what bugs did it but you figure it out. I recieved 7 bites on my arm and my daughter thank goodness only got one on her neck. I called the hotel to inform them and they said they would look into it. No I'm sorry or oh what can we do for you just ok we will look into it. Over all very dirty and I will never use a holiday inn express agian slightly run down .

Had to stay over unexpectedly for one night. It was a little pricey for a basic, aged motel. The outdoor pool was a nice diversion and there was a great little "strip mall" Mexican restaurant up the road. All in all, if it was a little less, I'd give it very good.

Great hotel to stay while visiting Lake Compounce. Friendly staff, spotless rooms, nice pool - free breakfast buffet. Glad I read reviews of their competition and changed to stay here. You can go wrong!

Stayed for a week for softball tournament. Didn't see the manager once during the stay. Room cleaning was irratic or not at all - one day housekeeping was at our door at 7:50am and another day after 7 pm. One day they missed our room all together. Put a water-based ink spot on sheets to see if they were changed - they were not. I'm not overly picky but I expect the linens to be changed for $100 a night! Not one of the cleanest hotels that we have visited. Our feet would turn brown if we did not wear shoes in the room. Breakfast area was overcroweded. Lighting was dim. One of the elevators was not functioning most of the week. Air conditioning weird - fluctuated from freezing to hot & humid - cycled all night long.
