I stayed at this Motel 6 for two weeks in December 2009 during my move from Ohio to Connecticut. The room was very clean, with reasonably new furniture. Housekeeping and front desk staff were reasonably polite. It was very bare bones, like all Motel 6 rooms, two bars of soap, no shampoo, no alarm clock. However, I had selected this hotel specifically because it had advertised that it had wireless internet available, and I wanted to use it in my room to search for an apartment, find my way around the area, etc. To use the internet, you bought a card at the front desk for $2.99 per day, then type the code on the card into your browser window. This "unlocks" the wireless internet and alllows you to use the internet for 24 hours, then you buy another card the next day. Well, when I got to my room, I found that the wireless signal was too weak to connect. I asked the desk clerk for a different room, but he told me there were no other rooms available that had a better wireless signal. After three days, they had some vacancies, and I was able to move to a room that had a better wireless signal, but I was irritated that even though they advertised they had wireless internet, the signal wasn't strong enough to cover the whole hotel. Recommendation: If you need wireless internet, call in advance and make sure the room they plan on giving you had a good signal. Aside from that, it was a good stay.
