I travel frequently to CT for business. I have stayed at the Courtyard a few times and while the service is excellent and the breakfast is second to none, it is not my favorite in the area. I have sometimes had non-working appliances, light fixtures and sometimes my room isn't always as clean as I'd like it to be, but I think the rooms are being updated, so that may make it a bit more attractive in the future.

Situated in the lonely town of Shelton. The hotel though offers a decent shuttle service to the nearest train stations or offices in Trumbull. Rooms are comfortable and nice. Typical for a place to stay in after a tiring day at work. Hotel doesn't have much else. Free wifi in the rooms

I stayed here for one night while on business and it was comfortable. The staff person at the desk was not very friendly, but was professional. There were some rather shady characters hanging around the parking lot which was kind of unsettling, but I'm guessing they were staying there. The room was big and had a small living area, as well as a wetbar. It was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Stayed in this hotel before on multiple occasions spaced out by years. WAS very happy with the hotel before, but now noticeably needs improvement. Renovations are in process per hotel sign in lobby, but disappointing stay. Hoping new renovations include an actual fitness center (currently, fitness center is a small conference room with minimal equipment) and new hotel towels (currently, the towels are made of a very thin material). Don't plan to stay here anytime soon and would recommend looking elsewhere to others.
