Stayed at this hotel for an American Legion State convention and it was fantastic. Our group mistakenly reserved 1 rioom too few and upon discussing our problem to the front desk they quickly solved our problem. Room was very well laid out,quiet and clean.For some reason the bed was not all that comfortable for me but this is probably not a problem for most quests. our discount was applied to the room total price but it was maybe a little too steep of a price in my opinion but not too far off.The restauarant was exceptionally clean and the breakfast was very good for the price . All in all I will be back next year!

We stayed overnight at this hotel on July 25, 2011 while visiting family in the area. We booked the room through Price Line and got a very good rate!! The hotel was located right off the exit ramp in Rocky Hill, CT so it was very easy to find. The front desk personnel were very helpful and friendly. Check in was simple. The room was very nice and very clean. It came w/an iron that I needed very badly! Our room was on the second floor and even though there were other people in rooms near us, we did not hear them from our room. The beds were extremely comfortable. The room had no odors and the bathroom had no mold. After check in, my son, wife and grandchildren came to the hotel and we all went swimming in the pool for an hour. The pool area was clean and neat. I did not use any other facilities at the hotel (restaurant, bar, exercise room, etc.), but it had what I needed for this trip and I will definitely stay there again.

I stayed at the Marriott Rocky Hill when visiting my son, wife and new grand daughter last December. From the time I checked in, I couldn't have been more pleased. Even though my room was right by the elevator, the hotel was always quiet. Even the night a huge group of people were in town for an event. The beds are ULTRA comfortable, which is such a plus. The front desk was always accommodating.... I once had to wait to buy coffee, and she just gave it to me free because of my wait. Another plus....Starbucks in the lobby. I had dinner one evening, and the food was good. Bartender very friendly. I read the earlier comment about the hotel being "dated" - but I love the fact this hotel is now brand new. Why? They have updated all their spaces, but they are still large, open spaces. My room wes a very nice size with a good size bathroom.

PS - no free WiFi in room, but I just went down to the restaurant/lounge area. Very convenient.

I will be visiitng again this December for my grand daughter's first birthday, and I will definititely stay at Rocky Hill Marriott.

I stay at this hotel at least once per month on business.
Pros: The hotel staff is courteous & professional. The food is surprisingly good for hotel fare. The bartenders are friendly & provide excellent table service for dinner. Room service is prompt which is important for me when I have to have breakfast deliverd at the earliest time available to make my meetings. The rooms are clean & comfortable. The location is perfect for doing business in Hartford (10 minutes) or Middletown (15 minutes). It's a great bargain compared to staying right in downtown Hartford. Free parking & free high speed internet in the lobby.
Cons: The rooms are a bit dated with older, big box style tvs. The parking is not covered, wich isn't a big deal but worth noting if you're going in the winter months so you have an ice scraper handy to clean off your car in the event of snow or freezing rain.
Overall, a great hotel that is very clean, convenient, welcoming and accomodating to its guests.
