“Charming and Comfortable! Loved our stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 January 2012

The Morgan Inn is wonderful! Room was cozy, but we had plenty of room for all our things! The location of the inn is perfect for out of towners! Close to Mystic and Westerly! Linda the owner is the sweetest woman, and aims to please! Her cooking is fabulous, she always has baked goodies! Yum! We look forward to staying at the Morgan Inn again!

“Antiques & Classic Movies”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 March 2011

Go back to a simpler time & relax. We throughly enjoyed our time with host Linda & Don.
Their hospitality is memorable, we enjoyed chatting & felt so comfortable in their home!
Our breakfast was delicious. She made us special french toast & aimed to please us, which she did. There were warm homemade brownies for us too. Our whole experience was a pleasant & welcome surprise. Thank You.
We hope to return in the future!!!

“Magical”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 March 2011

From the moment Linda opened the front door and welcomed us, we felt at home. The decorations brought back memories of a more innocent and romantic time--a little before our time but a wonderful time just the same. It was comfortable and very relaxing in our room and the breakfast was delicious!
This was a "magical" trip and we hope to return again in 2011.

“Very cold unimpressive breakfast”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2011

The photo on the internet looks great......but when we arrived at the property, it was run down and cluttered! Our room was cold because of cold air coming in around the window frame of the bathroom window! Our breakfast consisted of runny scrambled eggs and very burnt bacon. We were very disappointed.

Returning visitors are a tribute to our success and we would like to thank all of our guests for choosing our B&B over and over again. We have shared our inn with thousands of satisfied guests and are proud to offer our "home away from home".
Heavy Connecticut traffic, an after dark arrival, autumn rains, and the decision not to take our recommendation for dinner truly overwhelmed and influenced this mid-week couple from Kentucky.

“First B&B Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 August 2010

My fiancee and I needed an impromptu weekend away and this place was just what the doctor ordered. She had been to a few B&B's, but I had not. So I deferred to her expertise. We chose an area of New England that doesn't necessarily scream tourist spot to us Bostonians, but we were pleasantly surprised by the proximity of this place to several pleasant waterfront village shopping and eating areas (Mystic & Stonington Harbor CT and Westerly & Watch Hill RI. The hostess/innkeeper, Linda, was very delightful and cheery. If you were in a bad mood, her personality would quickly turn that frown upside down.

Even though we're both in our early to mid 30's, we didn't find the abundant movie props, memorbilia and pictures from the 30's, 40's & 50's overwhelming. But I definitely think people that are 50+ would appreciate it even more! You are within 15 minutes of all the most important attractionsand yet far enough away to feel at peace. The price is right when you consider the hotels and activity centers right near by that can be easily double what we paid. Plus you're not gonna get fresh homemade spice cake or full breakfast made from scratch included in the price at MGM Grand @ Foxwoods! Linda was also very knowledgeable about the hidden gems that are within a short distance of the Inn. She puts hotel conceirges to shame.

To sum it up, she made it feel like you were staying at a long lost Aunt's house it was that comfortable! My first B&B experience was definitely an enjoyable one.
