“Not great- just okay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

Stayed here for three nights in Early February ... some thoughts

Good -
Had a very nice room (suite)
Easy on/off highway
Eating options nearly

Bad -
loud halls
workout facility was not restocked, even after I asked for it to be

Suggestion - if you're going to stay here- ask for a room on the third floor (highest one) so that way you cant hear people walking above you. Sounded like elephants were staying upstairs from us and woke us up....

Room Tip: stay on the highest floor - floor 3

“Not impressed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

I stayed at this hotel on 1/19/12 and I was completely dissappointed. I had a courtyard view on the first floor with a patio, what a mistake. It was loud with college age students coming and going from their games. Also, there was a fight in the lobby with a couple of patrons who woke me up at 1:30am, needless to say, I could not get back to sleep. Also, the room was outdated and dirty. I had used cups in my room and the coffee pot was empty, good thing there was free coffee in the lobby. The room does have a musty odor to it, I would probably not book again at this property.

“Lousy experience!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2012

I have stayed at this property quite a few times for business and I honestly don't know why...this week pretty much took the cake.
I was given the last king suite and the desk clerk was disappointed to give it to me since they were "going" to show this room. Are you sure that you still want a king suite?? she says . I had a reservation for a king suite and I am Lifetime Platinum so you would think that she might know better.
Off I go to the suite which is on the first floor.......this is a problem since I have had problems with noise here before. I had "reserved" high floor but it seems no one looks at reservations and preferences here.
It's pretty cold out and the suite is cold. I put the heat on but I notice that there is a portable electric heater in the living space of the suite. I quickly realized that the heat did not work in that area and that's the reason the electric heater is in there....are you kidding? It might have been nice to say something about this to me.......I am paying $189 a nite to get a portable heater in the middle of winter??
The toilet paper roll is almost empty and there's no extra in the room. The bathroom floor is not clean (hairs on the floor).
Breakfast is served to order and this is supposed to be an improvement over the buffet that they used to serve - I guess if you like cold eggs and cold toast it is...
In the future, I am going to keep driving and find another property!

“Good place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 December 2011

It's more a motel than a real hotel in my view.
A property very comfortable if you're driving and - all considered - with good rates.
Staff was very good and ready to help.
Breakfast not enough but please realize you're not in a luxury place and they do not
sell it like it is. It's a good Courtyard Marriott! No shame at all in sleeping here!
Rooms are ok, nothing special but honest accomodations with all the comforts for a 3 star property.

“Great Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 December 2011

This was my second stay at the Courtyard and this time I requested a room on the top floor because last time when we were on the ground floor it sounded like elephants lived above us. We were facing outwards towards the I95 but it was still pretty quiet even with the window open. Unfortunately this room still had the same dank smell that our ground floor room had so I kept the window open all the time. The hot water on the 3rd floor takes a little while to get going and then you have to be careful not to adjust too dramatically or else you end up burned or extremely cold. The room servicing was really great, our son's toys would be neatly lined up on the bed and they provided plenty of towels and extra trash bags for us. We stayed for a week and it was really comfortable, I love the fact that the room has a fridge and microwave and good storage in the bathroom. The wireless was ok, we could Skype fairly reliably but it was a little slow.

Room Tip: Choose the top floor looking outwards in the summer and inwards during the winter.
