I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Norwalk,CT. for one night. Checked in on Fri. Jan. 13th. Fri. the 13th it was. After a long ride from Boston, we checked in for a local Irish step Feis.I went up to what I thought was our room, only to walk in to find someone else was checked into the room. I was horrified. I tried to call the front desk from the hall phone 10 rings no answer. So I lugged all out luggage back to the desk. The desk reply was oh..I was assigned a new room it was late so we went to bistro for dinner,the women behind the counter didnt understand english,the front desk clerk had to take the order.After an hr. plus the meal was complete. the drink we ordered took 45 min. to make and was terrible. the front desk took it off the bill and made a complimentary dessert for our patients, only to be served with a big hair in it..I have worked for Westin hotels in the past. This type of service is just unacceptable..

I stayed here with my husband for one night, and found it perfectly fine. Nothing really wow'ed me, but no real negatives, either. It's fine, and for the money, it's not bad. Breakfast was decent- scrambled eggs and bacon, the normal buffet foods. I wouldn't mind staying here again, but if you're into bells and whistles, this place is not for you.

The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean. The hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and other amenities. The bed was horrible, worst ever and we travel frequently. The walls are quite thin and can hear talking in the hallway. Would not stay here again.

Definitely coming back- beautiful spotless room for a verylow price!
