We spent one weekend night there recently at a great price booked directly through the hotel website. Totally acceptable value-priced hotel; it is pet friendly and allows dogs for a $25 "cleaning fee." There is a pet walking grassy area in the back. The room was clean; shower had great water pressure; the sink is separate from the toilet. The kitchenette (which we did not use) was clean, as was the refrigerator. The HVAC seemed a little temperamental and it took a while to get the correct temperature regulated--but once set, it stayed true all night. The windows open slightly and have security bars. The one "defect" was the fact that the curtains, when closed, left a tiny gap on either side--not an issue if you are on the upper floors--but could be a problem on the ground floor is someone were to get right nexct to the window. The hotel sits on a site that is a marvel of modern civil/site engineering--a winding driveway gets you to the top--ample parking around the hotel--although I suppose you might get unlucky and then you will have to park in the "lower" lot which is accessed by a flight of stairs. We were on the ground floor--I am sure that the southern exposure rooms on the top floor have some pretty neat views. No onsite restaurant--but several places on Main Avenue nearby. I could envision staying here for an extended period--but you will need your car for everything--unless you like walking up long and steep driveways.
