I stayed here and did not have the same problems as the other people. It was by far not the nicest room I've ever stayed in, but not the worst either. The furniture is outdated, and you get some noise from the highway, but it's a Budget Inn, not a Hilton.
I only paid about $60 per night for my room. Considering the proximity to Foxwoods, that's the cheapest you're going to find in that area in the summer.

The reason I am posting this is that we had some rather odd experiences in our room (the boyfriend and I). We didn't compare notes until after we checked out but I'm left with the impression (and this has never happened before) that the particular room we were in may have been haunted... maybe we're not alone in having a weird experience there?


There is noise from the I-95, but the hotel is situated right next to it, you kind of have to expect it. Every hotel I've ever stayed in next to a highway had the same problem.
I was happy to find a microwave & fridge in the room, and when I stayed there, they were clean. As was the bathroom, which had been redone. The only problem that we had was a broken lamp. I called the front desk, and they sent someone up who fixed it, no problem. No big deal for us.

There are no words to explain how pathetic place and horrible people they are. You will get sewage water to bath and it smells like algae.....yak... A big NOOOOO....

This hotel was so disgusting. It's far back from the street. We actually called home to make sure everyone knew where we were "just in case". The bed were nasty, slept on top of the covers, the bathroom was dirty. The floor were nasty. This was the worst hotel ever and they charged $150 to stay there. DO NOT DO IT!!! you will be very disappointed.

First of all the rate was $145.00 not $59.00. I thought I was getting the one up the street. This one is down the end of the road where you can't see it. Grounds were shabby, lawn ill kept. Motel needed painting and general care. Window removed from back wall and curtain hanging down. Toilet dirty, fridge dirty with container inside with water and red stuff like tooth paste inside. Microwave had no turntable inside. Exposed plug outlets, not sure bed sheets had been changed. No headboard on the back of the bed looked like it had been ripped off. Pole lamp with no outlet to plug into. Called up the street and was told no vacancy. So spent the night, next morning complained, was told too bad should have left. Wish I had.
