When I made the reservation, I had asked for 2 rooms. One room I needed to be on the 1st floor due to the fact that we had a handicapped young adult in our party who was afraid of heights. We also had two very large suitcases that needed to be dragged up the two flights of steps since they put us on the second floor. I don't understand how you make a reservation under the "senior rate" and then require 2 seniors, a 40 year old woman, and a handicapped young man to carry suitcases up two flights of stairs.

As for the room, no alarm clock, one bar of soap in bathroom, and no hair dryer, shampoo or even a box of tissues?? Bed was very old and lumpy. This hotel definitely needs updating and to top it all off, while trying to relax on Friday between the hours of 3-5pm at the pool, the staff decided to weed-wack and cut the grass.

no cold air conditioner
could feel springs in mattress
sheets were dirty and stained
fleas in room
rooms fixtures were updated
but rest was not addressed
these rooms should have been shut down until addressed
saturday nights stay cleared $100

didn't expect too much from a budget motel up-front, chose it for its convenient location along our route witih late arrival and early departure. Overall, very friendly and attentive service at reception (even recognized a birthday in the group). The only real disappointment was the bad smell in the room when we opened the door (room was very clean otherwise). Keeping the door open for half an hour helped a bit, and we put up with it as other rooms were taken. Quiet despite proximity to I-95. outside pool.

As you pull up you can see that the pool is all green, the stars are all rusty and the grounds are poorly kept. That was the better part. The room resembles a jail cell with all furniture including the bed was nailed down. The bedding was so old and threadbare I slept in my clothes!!! Stay in your car...its a loss of $100.
