The hotel was perfectly situated between the outlet malls in Clinton and Westbrook, CT, as well as Mohegan Sun, and Mystc, CT. During my stay, my wife and I visited all of the above areas and were very happy with the hotel location. The hotel was built in 2002 and I am unsure if it was always smokefree on the floor we were on, but we could definitely smell cigarette smoke at times. Most likely it was from other guest. The rooms were pretty clean as well as the bathroom and shower. The walls are very thin and the beds are relatively hard. There is an indoor pool, however we did not take advantage of this amenity. The free breakfast was nothing extraordinary, but did suffice. There is a Starbucks located literally right in front of the hotel and a Stop and Shop just a couple of blocks down the road. Overall a great value considering we paid $160 for two nights including taxes.

Sleep Inn in Niantic is great! The staff are great, they go above and beyond to make sure my visit is exactly what I needed it to be!

Spent over 8 weeks at the Sleep Inn - Niantic, Ct. from August - October. Very accommodating, friendly staff, hotel clean, quiet, safe. Indoor heated pool a plus!

I am in the East Lyme area for business, approximately three times a month from Sept to Dec. I always book at the Sleep Inn. The Managers and staff remember my name, never place me on the wrong floor and it is a quiet, safe and clean place to stay,
When they say the room is non-smoking it is... that is great since I do not wish to meet clients with stale cigar or cigarette smoke on my clothing..
