The Heritage in is a delightful little hotel in New Milford. It is close to everything. The staff were very polite and courteous. The rooms were large and spacious and the breakfast provided was more than adequate for the price of the room. The Only downside were the sounds. From our room you could hear water running down the toilet stack all night. If you ever stay here, don't book through Hotels.com or you'll get the room with the toilet stack in the corner.

Had to book a room last minute and the staff was more than please to aid me! Rooms were clean and had a cozy feeling to it. Never had an issue with the staff. I think they can do better with the breakfast options, but it wasn't as bad as its being made out to be.

We stayed at the Heritage Inn in New Milford for a wedding and I cannot recommend anyone else staying there. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, the room was run down and it felt uncomfortable sleeping in the bed.

If you need to be in this area, this is the place to be since it's right in the heart of a cute little town and the rooms are a nice size and what we loved most was the old-fashioned feel, however, the room could use an update. It doesn't have the cleanest feel - the rugs are very old and feel dirty and there were some disgusting mold/mildew stains on the ceiling from water damage. When I closed the bathroom door, the vent cover fell down on us and the shower rod holding the curtain was also broken. Cute area but the rooms do need to be fixed and cleaned if you want people to return. Customer service was excellent though!
