This Red Roff Inn was unique in that the biggest negative was that the rooms were in dire need of renovation/upgrading. Pillows were flat, mattresses felt worn, new bath towels are definitely needed and the room temperature was difficult to control.
Now on to the better stuff. The grounds were well maintained, the housekeeping and front desk staff were friendly and more than helpful. The location was convenient to most of the local attractions and restaurants. The price was a litte high but understandable since it was the 4th of July weekend and there was quite a bit going on over the weekend.
Overall, save for the room needing upgrades, the location, hotel personnel and hotel grounds were excellent. Keep in mind that this is pretty much a no frills hotel.
Room Tip: The rooms themselves pretty much are what they are.

We are definitely located very close to many attractions including the Mohegan Sun Casino and Foxwood Casino and the Ocean Beach Park and many more great places to visit. Over fifty percent of our rooms have already received new pillow upgrades and mattress improvements.
