I stayed one night, a Friday in September, before a meeting at Quinnipiac on Saturday. First impressions were good with plenty of parking near the entrance, and a quick and friendly checkin. Unfortunately, the smell of smoke was very strong in the room we were assigned, despite this being a non-smoking hotel. The front desk clerk apologized and moved us to another room, which was much better. No real complaints about the room itself. Things seemed clean and well-kept. The wireless Internet gave us no problems. The main word of warning is that if you are a light sleeper, you will not like this hotel. The walls are apparently very thin. There seemed to be very few people staying on this night, but we could still hear conversations out in the hall loud and clear and every footstep people took on the very creaky floors. Our room was also on the end near Route 63, so we could also head plenty of traffic noise. Maybe it's not so bad in other parts of the hotel. But the way sound carries in the building, I'd expect it to be problematic if more rooms were occupied. In the morning, we were satisfied with the above-average breakfast selection. We also reported a minor maintenance problem at checkout but we don't know whether it was addressed. All in all, a decent stay, but I'll probably try something else when I visit the area again in the spring.
