We stayed one night at this motel. When we checked in we asked for a smoking room on the first floor, and were given non-smoking, so we asked for another room. The room they put us in was horrible, the smoke detector was pulled off the ceiling and gone, just bare wires hanging from the ceiling, and one of the beds appeared to be broken. We left for about an hour to get dinner, and when we came back, the dresser and night stand were infested with ants. So by this time we were too tired to move to another hotel, so we asked for yet another room, which they gave us on the 2nd floor. This room was not clean, the door was not flush with the molding, we could see out through the gaps. The bathroom was dirty, there were pubic hairs in the tub, on the floor and on the toilet. The toilet in the adjoining room backed into our toilet when ever it was flushed, and ours did some strange stuff too. I brought in a blanket and pillow from the car and slept on top of the bed as I was afraid of bugs in the bed. I don't know if there were or not, I was afraid to disturb the bedding.
I actually called Super 8's 800# to report the problems and lodge a complaint. I got an email reply from the manager of the one we stayed at. He accused me of asking for non smoking to begin with. (I think I know what I asked for as we are both smokers), then he offered a 20% discount the next time we stay there, like that's ever going to happen. I replied to this insulting email, and told him maybe his front desk clerk doesn't know how to listen and asked for a refund of our money. Of course I have NOT received a reply to that.
You would be better off to sleep in your vehicle in the WalMart parking lot, than to spend your hard earned money on this place.

We do not agree with this review at all. When guests have a genuine complaint we make an effort to address the same and also compensate the guests appropriately but this forum should not be used for slander as it is not helping other guests at all. All negative reviews will be treated respectfully as long as they are honest and not exaggerated.
