I used my Priority Club points to stay here, somewhat leery because of the previous bad reviews. I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the place and the size of the rooms. I don't know why previous reviewers complained about this hotel. It's perfect for an extended stay!

My husband and I had a wedding to attend and needed a place that was dog friendly. We always like to travel with her. This property was very suitable for our needs. The staff was very friendly, the rooms very clean and a nice, quiet stay. I would recommend this place and would consider going back again.

It's not theRritz but it certainly is not as bad as some of the reviews claim. The staff at the front desk were very accommodating with letting us check in early and for a pet friendly hotel, the rooms were clean and our room had no pet odor or stains. It was a convenient location and easy access to 91 and 15. It was a good value for a last minue business trip without breaking the bank.

We are having guests from overseas visit us, and we wanted a nice place for them to stay, that has a full kitchen and comforts of home away from home. We made a reservation here on one day's notice, after being disgusted and disappointed by our check-in experience at Four Points in Meriden. They were able to give us a 4-person suite, with full kitchen, all the amenities, at one day's notice. They did not mess up the reservation, the desk service was given with a smile and understanding, and so far everything seems wonderful. In addition, room prices are much cheaper than Four Points - almost too good to be true.. Let's keep our fingers crossed after the horrible experience we had at Four Points, and having to cancel our reservation there.

We have also had another guest stay here when visiting from out of town, and they also had only good things to say about Candlewood. So far we are very pleased with the atmosphere, service, cleanliness, prices, many amenities and convenience.
