Have stayed at this hotel three times now and each time find it to be excellent value for money. It is quite basic but comfortable, has a full kitchenette and clean bathroom. It is easily accessible to I-84 which makes travelling around Connecticut and the greater New England area very easy. Having relatives nearby, we find this hotel suits our budget and is easy to get to following days out around the region. Would highly recommend that you don't overlook in your plans, we've always found it to be very good value for money. Also it's great for shopping with Buckland Hills Mall on the doorstep and plenty of places nearby for eating out.

My fiance and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night over Memorial day weekend. Upon opening the door to our room I was suprised to find the ironing board set up in the middle of the floor. My fiance and I thought this was strange but decided to overlook it since we just wanted to drop off our bags and head out. Our mistake was not immediately making a thorough check of the room right then and there and insisting on a room change. To our disgust we later found a USED bar of soap (unwrapped with hair on it) in the bath tub. The garbage had never been emptied from the previous guest and not only did we find a dirty napkin tucked inside the sheets of the bed but we found human hairs all over the sheets of the bed. We were also forced to leave the hotel room for a brief period after 10 p.m. because someone on an upper floor had set off the fire alarm - I don't hold this against the hotel, but it certainly contributed to the overall negative experience. Needless to say I will NEVER stay at this hotel again and recommend that people avoid it and instead check into one of the numerous other hotels in the Manchester-Vernon area that at a bare minimum at least provide clean hotel rooms.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times. It is a no frills hotel, but very clean and staff is friendly. It's a little diffficult to find, but the location is accessible to Interstate 84. First time we stayed there we arrived about 9 PM and were given the key to a room which had not been made up or cleaned. Also, the front desk is closed from 10:30 PM until after 7 AM, so if you arrive late/leave early there is no one to assist you. Late arrival's keys are put in some lockbox at the entrance to the hotel with instructions on how to get it!
