Due to a damaging snowstorm in Connecticut and no power for several days we were forced to leave our home and stay in a hotel. Since rooms were hard to come by I was relieved when I was able to get a room at the Extended Stay.  When we arrived at the hotel there was no water for a short period.   Ok, can understand things happen that are out of their control and we were willing to accept that.  The water came on shortly after we were promised by the staff.

The room smelled horrible, there were cleaning supplies left in the bathroom, food from the prior guests in the fridge, thick dust on surfaces and gum all over the windows and drapes. I went to the front desk and they sent 2 people to clean up the room. They apologized, tried to clean up and told me the tub was not cleaned because there was no water. Then why did they put us in the room?

I went home to get cleaners and cleaned the surfaces myself.  I couldn'tget the smell out the room but was at least able to wash down some surfaces. The next morning I tried to take a shower and there was no hot water! When I tried to call the front desk the phone didn't work.
I travel extensively and this was by far the WORST hotel I have EVER stayed at!

I stayed here for an extended period of time and should say, nice rooms, but I was expecting a bigger room later came to know that the efficiency studio will have more rooms like the one i stayed. The overall service was good, but room maintainance will come only once a week. But the location is great, with a shopping place on a walkable distance where you have all coffee shops. To those who like, there is a Indian restaurant in a walkable distance and so walkable is a gas station. The laundry room could have been better. Overall pretty good, since I could get a better rate during the second week of my stay.

I was surprised by the negative ratings for this hotel. I have tried LOTS of hotels in the area and it is the best for the price. They have coffee pots and coffee plates. not sure why mmchina said they don't have these things. WIFI. There isn't a hair dryer in room, but they have at front desk. I feel safe. My room is comfortable. it has frig for food. Panera, McDonalds, great Indian restaurant + other restaurants & Grocery stores right down street. Gas station next door. laundry facilities. Friendly helpful staff. I seldom write, but always read these reviews. Give them a chance and see what you think.

Be careful ... This place is a land of bed bugs , we shifted 3 rooms after which the same problem existed .. Suffered a lot since i had a kid :( Dont go there
