I travel a lot for business and can usually overlook a few weird things, but this Hilton has so many small things wrong that I won't ever stay here again. Nothing large, but so many small things: alarm clock didn't work; when I called to have the clock repaired, it wasn't done; phone line to guest services didn't work from room phone; toothbrush was left bristle-side down on the bathroom counter; lamps were not plugged in; coffeemaker was hidden away in cabinet, and to plug it in I had to pull it out and put it on the desk; ironing board was semi-broken and tilting to one side. Colleagues complained of water pipes knocking and waking them up at 4am. The lobby is uninviting with little room to sit and wait for someone, much less sit and work. I said to a colleague "It's like an airport hotel, where it can be bad because they have a captive clientele," to which she responded, "no, it's worse." Here's my advice: no matter how much you want the Hilton points, stay at the Marriott!
