My parents were in Groton CT making funeral arrangements for my brother. They were tired and unfamiliar with the area. I went on Expedia.com to find a room and not finding a room at any of the familiar named chains I booked a room for them at The Knights Inn Groton. My mother called when they checked in telling me that there was no key available for the room (they were told that if they left the room they would not be able to get back in), the room was dirty, they had to prop a chair under the doorknob as a safety measure, there were no amenities in the room (not even a coffee pot) and they paid more than $140.00 USD. My mother is not up to speed with technology so she asked me to enter this review to save other people the awful experience they went through by staying here.
