“Excellent staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 September 2011

Excellent front desk staff I think the girl that check us in was Emily and she was great. We got upgraded to a suite and being the first night of our honeymoon made it even better. The breakfast in the morning was very good and the hotel is only 15 mins away from the casinos and half the price.I will stay here again and every time we go to Foxwoods from now on.

“Poor customer Service from the Manager Mr Morin.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2011

Spent the night for my Birthday Sept. 17 to Sept 18... The rooms are okay small but okay... Woke up in the morning and was packing the car up and getting ready to leave, When my Husband noticed my Car had been keyed from from to back on the drivers side.. I couldn't believe it.. Immediately went to front desk to report it.. The man behind the counter said really with a grin.. Well that didn't sit well and I asked for the Manager...THIS WAS THE MANANGER.. I asked and to come out and see it... He said no we're not responsible for what happens in our parking lot.. Are you kidding me.. Call the police I said.. He said you really want me to call the Police like it was a joke.. His response as a manager was UNREAL... He didn't offer to give me a free night.. Grinned the entire time .. They also tried to charge me 1.50 for a safe i didn't use... UNSERCURE HOTEL... BAD MANAGEMENT....

“Convenient to casinos”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 September 2011

Stayed here for a weekend of Bingo at Foxwoods. The hotel was convenient to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. About a 15-20 minute drive away. Hotel provided free breakfast (continental style) but also offered waffles. Great customer service at the front desk. Rooms were clean but small. Our bathroom was some what small and had the tub separate from the sink. The beds were not the most comfortable but OK for 1-2 night stay. Surprised the room had a flat screen TV with free HBO. I didn't use the pool but looking at the water.. it looked a little bit cloudy. Parking was adequate. Hotel does offer shuttle service to the casinos but only runs on the weekends and requires advance reservations. Overall it was worth the price for a hotel close to the casinos, especially over the Labor Day weekend.

“Average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2011

This hotel was nice, the pool was a little cloudy, the room was clean, small bathrooms, I really wanted to love this hotel, When you check in make sure your room is not by the stairs, from about 2 am until 4 am, very loud, I would not recommend staying in one of those rooms if you want a good nights sleep. The breakfast was ok not many choices.
It was very pricy for what it was. A room for night with taxes and fees was $170. not worth the price for no sleep.

Warm welcome.....excellent service behind the desk......lovely setting.....fireplaced living area when you first walk in. Room was very clean. My husband asked to have the air conditioner filter changed because he has allergies....and it was done without hesitation. Beds and pillows were very comfy. Excellent continental breakfast that had everything under the sun....including Belgium waffles. We wouldn't hesitate to go back there. And, the cost was very reasonable!
