My husband, daughter, parents and I stayed at this hotel for a week during a terrible power outage for most of CT. The employees at this hotel were amazing. Karen, the Sales Manager never lost her cool, even with the constantly ringing phones. I watched in amazement as John the Operations Manager, assisted a guest who had had recent stomach surgery by helping her pack, loading her suitcases on a luggage trolley, bringing her bags down to the front desk, and putting them into her car when it was time for her to depart. It wasn't just the front desk crew, the ladies and gentlemen who fed us each morning were cheerful and friendly; this was especially noteworthy because most of them were without heat or electricity themselves. When our power was finally restored we hugged our food server goodbye after breakfast. Everyone was sympathetic and helpful. Since we live in the area we will certainly be putting our out of town guests up at this hotel the next time the need arises.

We stayed here overnight for a friend's event and it as great. comfy, clean, friendly and breakfast was tasty. highly recommend it.

We have stayed in this hotel 3 times during the past 6 months. The staff are accomodating (quick to respond with extra towels, the bar tender was excellent), but the facilites were disappointing (the hot tub was filthy, the heating system in our room did not work properly). We stayed right after Hartford lost alot of power during an early storm, so things may have just been out of sorts. Our room felt really small (kingsize bed w/pullout sofa). The location is close to the Westgate Farms mall and convenient to the highway.

Really a great Courtyard. Next to a large mall. Plenty of shopping and food close by. Rooms are typical good courtyard quality. Front desk staff is great, and all services are as you would expect from Courtyard. Only problem is that the wireless internet service is horrible. The plug-in ethernet connection was not much better. I would like to keep coming back, but the lack of consistent internet is a big problem for me. Please upgrade your internet service provider!
