I was only staying in the area for one night and just wanted an inexpensive, decent room to sleep. The old saying is true -- you get what you pay for ! Room was supposed to have been "renovated" but was truly the smallest room I have ever stayed in. Did not even have the basics such as hair dryer and shampoo. Had one little bar of soap that disappeared in my hand. Shower did not look clean, you could see through the towels. When I pulled back the spread on the bed there was an old, thin blanket that actually had cigarette burn holes in it. The "pillows" were about 1 inch thick. I had to fold my robe and put on top of it to sleep. The ONLY positive thing I can say is that it was within walking distance to Starbucks. My first and last stay at a Motel 6.

This Motel 6 was recently remodeled and clean but you need to have the light left on to move around the room. My room was a double which meant that you had 2 beds stuffed into a 12' x 12' room plus the bathroom and sink area. One bed was against one wall and the other against the air conditioner/heater unit with about 2 feet between. A narrow path at the bottom of the beds between the dresser/desk/TV stand unit. The shower head was about 6' feet above the tub so even if you are vertically impared the water was head high. Only coffee in the morning in the office, you need to ask for an iron and board, bring your own alarm clock. This motel is good for an overnight stay if you are on a tight budget but I wouldn't stay here longer unless you like tight spaces and someone will either be very cold in the summer or really hot in the colder months.

me and my family stayed for 4 days and we had good time
and room was nice and clean and great prices i called next door red roof inn they have same room for more money than motel 6 so we diced to stay in motel 6 good customer services. everything is near good and i think management has been change that is why all services is nice i recommended to stay in motel 6. i will better stay in motel 6 in Enfield

I started writing the history of the whole trip, but decided not to bore you...so here is the jist of it...

Young girl at the front desk decided it was more important to talk to her friends on the phone, than to help a witing customer (a 20 minute wait while no one else was in the lobby).

Asked for a NON-smoking room and ended up with a room that had dirty ashtrays with cigarette butts still in them!

When asked for another room, was told that that was all they had left.

The room was tiny and the beds looked like someone had laid on top of them.

When leaving the next day, while making sure that all of our children's toys were packed up, I was looking under the bed and found a pair of DIRTY (and I mean DIRTY) UNDERWEAR!

That just signed the deal for my family and I. We will never stay there again. That was the most disgusting end to the most uncomfortable night.

The next trip I made up there later in the year, I happily stayed at the Red Roof Inn next door!
