We had planned a quick overnight on the way to an event. We arrived after 8 pm and were shown to a dark, dimly lit room. The bathroom had a very moldy smell and I asked if we could
have another room. The check-in clerk said she couldn't smell anything, but changed our room to a handicap accessible room. I asked if there were any other available but she said
no - even tho some others checked in after us. The room was very small, dark, and the bathroom also smelled moldy, but not as bad as the first. The furniture was crammed into the room with little space for movement. It was also unclean. I have stayed at many Super 8's, but this one was unbelieveably bad.

Bathrooms smell like mold and hallways on 2nd floor stink. Smells like incense. Left the room for one day just to come back and find my toothbrush, toothpaste, Vienna sausages, and military nutrition pack was all gone. They threw everything in the dumpster. Manager said he found my stuff in the dumpster and had the nerve to ask me if I wanted it. I told him this place is a joke. He wouldn't even buy me a new toothbrush.

My boyfriend and I stopped at the Super 8 Danbury for a one-night stay and were gladly surprised about this hotel. We didn't expect much since this hotel was pretty cheap and close to the highway.
This hotel offered us a comfortable bed, but the pillows were really small. The room also offers a TV with a lot of channels, a mini fridge and a safe. The bathroom is small but sufficient and the room was really clean.
The hotel is surrounded by a few fast-food restaurants. I would not hesitate going back again in this hotel.
In the morning, there is a breakfast area in the hotel where you can have coffee, juice, cereals, bagels and bread. Of course, didn't expect more since we paid 60$ US for the room, and the breakfast was alright.

I was searching for an affordable hotel in the Danbury, CT area, and the only lodging I found under $100 was this motel. I expected the worst, but it was surprisingly good and worth the price (around $80-$90). The entire place is very clean, the room was clean, and a decent size. It also had free wifi, and more channels on the TV than most hotels. There were extra towels, 3 pillows, a microwave, coffee maker, and fridge in the room. I believe they also have some sort of continental breakfast available. If in this area again, I would stay again.
