To sum it up - you get what you pay for. Place is inexpensive and close to Hwy 84 but those are it's only positives. Room was dark and had a distinct odor. Carpet was filthy as evidenced by the bottom of my white socks and kids cereal crumbs found in the chair. Breakfast was nothing special and surrounding properties (adult boutique, liquor store, laundrymat, and vacant gas station) gave me little comfort. I'm retuming to Danbury in August but will definately stay elsewhere.

The lady at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean but well worn, dimly lit, and, of course, small. There was a problem with the sound on the TV. The continental breakfast was lame - Cherios or toast - no juice.
This is a clean cheap place to stay in Danbury.

We stayed here while driving north to New England, then on our return. It's clean, in good repair and attractively appointed - we'll be back. The rates are fair; clientele is mostly older folks, some bikers on holiday, business people passing through, truckers. They have pet-friendly rooms for a little extra.
Chuck's Steakhouse - a trifle pricey but very good, traditional steakhouse fare - is a mile away. Hefty salad bar; order the tasty steak burger or grilled chicken sandwich if you don't want to spring for a steak, priced around $16-20. Also, there's a nice Dunkin Donuts next door to the Super 8 if you don't want the free continental breakfast at the hotel.
Cautionary note: drivers should be prepared to shoot across a few lanes to reach Exit 4 when traveling east on I-84; still, the hotel is definitely EZ on and EZ off, as they say.
