Besides the spacious, clean and quiet room; it is the wait-staff at breakfast that makes a difference. Placed at the tables (each: set with a linen table cloth and linen napkins), there is always a full pot of hot coffee and a glass of delicious, cold orange juice and always an "Oh, yeah... sure" reply from Samantha (for any request) ... followed by her cheerful, graceful, and silent focus on delivery of service to the guest... weaving that into her detailed setting of (more) fresh tables
Gee always makes her special brand of delicious omelet-to-order. and Ron always has a cheerful "Good Morning" demeanor for the diner. ... and a fire in the fireplace adds to the ambience.

We stayed on a Sat. night and they had a wedding reception held here. Between the noise of the guests from the wedding reception and the TRAFFIC not a good nights sleep at all. Overall the room was clean. Very NOISY night stay. The hotel is located right off Newtown Road and it is a very busy road. They offer complimentary coffee/tea in the lobby in the morning but no complimentary breakfast.

This hotel exceeds the expections of a hotel. The food is great. The rooms are clean. BUT, I cannot say enough about the great staff. The staff has made me feel like family...They have made my extended stay in CT great...Great JOB holiday Inn...You have one of the best in Danbury CT...

This hotel is very old and needs to be upgraded needs lots of work done the room old and outdated needs new tvs and new carpet. Over night staff was very proffesional and helpful. Breakfast wasn't free, food was ok. The server Samantha was a big help and very good with customer service. The food seem like it was out for a long time, ok omelets. I would recommend it just for A day or two
