I continue to stay almost weekly at this motel because of the friendly and professional service provided. Staff is wonderful! Accomodations are clean, comfortable and quiet, and the Continental breakfast offers many choices: waffles, bagels, cereal, apples or oranges, Danish pastries, muffins and breakfast burritos. Excellent quality. (I'm really stymied by the 2 negative reviews I've just seen on this page--my experience is totally different from those.)

I've stayed at this Microtel on five different occasions over the years. My first visit in 2006 really sold me on it.
My husband and I booked a queen suite for 4 nights last week.
The hotel reeks of cigarette smoke. I think the smoking rooms are on the first floor and the whole place stinks, including our room on the second floor.
The queen suite has a microwave, sink and counter to eat on. It does not have any plates, silverware, cups, etc.
The bathroom had 2 small bars of soap and NO shampoo or conditioner. If you didn't think to bring your own (like me) you're out of luck.
The bathroom had two sets of towels that were a very dingy gray - disgustingly dingy gray! These towels were also really worn and obviously in need of replacement.
The queen sized bed and pillows were comfy enough but the room is battered and I just couldn't get past the conditions of the towels.
With the free wifi they offer I went onto priceline.com and booked a room at The Residence Inn, Danbury for $30 less a night.
I will not be staying at this Microtel again - nor do I recommend it to anyone!

If you have any self respect you will not stay here. This place is gross. Hair all over the bed, carpets not vacuumed, toilet paper not replaced after last guest... Seriously?.. Wall paper falling off walls, holes in the walls, stained towels... Need I say more to convince you to sleep in your car over this place? Ok I will.. The entire back wall is a mirror which has me convinced that the hotel also rents by the hour.. Bathroom has dirt all around the tub, shades have holes, roof in bathroom is stained from bathroom leaks above, halls smell of smoke.. Stay somewhere else. I am all about squeezing a buck but it's worth spending the extra 30 bucks for anything else. Needless to say I checked in a check right back out.

I've stayed here once a week almost every week for over 2 yrs and won't even consider staying anywhere else. Beds are REALLY comfortable, rooms are quiet, continental breakfast is excellent, and staff is fantastic. I am very comfortable here and consider it an excellent value.
