“GREAT PLACE TO STAY! Super clean”

Now called Bristlecone Lodge. We booked this last minute and it could not have been better. The cabins look brand new and everything in them looks to be brand new. The mattress and bedding on the bed in the bedroom were superb, not your ordinary hotel bedding. Plush robes hanging in the closet which were great to snuggle into after a dip in the hot tub in the evenings. There is a grill right outside the cabin w/ a picnic table that we used to cookout on and do smores one night. There is a campfire ring w/ chairs around it and wood for anyone that wants to do that. The rooms were super clean and plenty of linens provided. Breakfast in the main building in the mornings was great. We saw a sign-up sheet for a potluck that they were having coming up. Everyone we encountered working there or just helping out was courteous and helpful. Even informed us of road closures in and around the area due to fires and flooding. Could not have asked for a better place to stay.

The only "downside" I can even come up w/ for this place is the location being right by the road. Even though it is close to the road they do a great job of putting the cabins as far as possible from it and situating them on the property and trees around. I can easily overlook the proximity to the road because of all of the positives that come with staying here. It's not like they can move the road so they worked great with what they had. Everything that a lodging establishment is responsible for they passed with flying colors. GREAT JOB!

We absolutely love this place. We now go there and stay every June. The owners, Ivan and Joyce, are simply the nicest people. We asked them were to go and what to do and they gave us some discount coupons that they had and we had a great day of river rating. They serve a continental breakfast every morning and they have free wifi. This place is highly recommended!

“Clean and Spacious Suites”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2008

I love Town and Country. It's a great place to stay and relax. The suites have a living room, mini-kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. The suites are clean and nicely decorated. I also appreciate the real comforter on the bed - instead of those polyester gross ones at a typical hotel. The price also comes with a nice breakfast - hot waffles, yum! I recommend staying here.

Regarding woman who wrote on August 14, I don't know who she is talking about. We met the owners who also live on-site and they don't match her description. She was probably waving at another guest.

“Great place to use as hub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 March 2008

This resort is half RV park and the other half cabins. There are eight cabins I believe. Each is a one bedroom with a couch/bed in the living room. They are well kept and comfortable. No cooking facilities other than a microwave and small frig.

Nice breakfast at the lodge included. We enjoyed our six day stay and would definitely stay there again.
