I booked the Ramada for a Friday night online and received a special one night discount that turned into three. The room was $40.50 which was $46.11 with tax. Due to mechanical problems with our vehicle our stay was extended to three night. The desk gave us the same rate even though even online for the week end the price was higher. The desk help were pleasant and helpful. We asked for ground floor and were given a choice of available rooms. Breakfast was better than in the past several years. There were 5 cold serials instead of 3. The bagels & crumbles cakes were fresh. The food was kept restocked and the area clean through out the breakfast time. The room was a two queen bed. The internet and cable we have come to expect was there. The room was clean and comfortable. The outlets needed to be replaced as when the computer was plugged in the plug fell out. Maintenance worked on it enough that a plug would stay in even if it was loose. This is an older Ramada which has had some of the old decor replaced. The shower head a lower than I like. I had to duck to get the soap out of my hair. This place was not designed to be a five star hotel but I can see an effort is being made to bring it back up to a better standard. The location is in a more rundown section of town next to the interstate highway. I will stay again if the price is right. The closest hotel in price in the area was $20 a night more. I would expect more for that kind of a price difference.
