This place is in a great location but it badly needs an update. My room was clean but looked like something from the fifties. You do not feel like spending any time in your room. TV may be older than I am. That said, the bed was very comfortable. They offer free underground parking, but it seems like something you would find in a bad part of Moscow. Roof is so low that my antenna was scraping along which was a first for me. Better places to stay in Vail than here.

The Sitzmark has been a family owned Vail landmark since the town was founded, but it doesn't rest on its laurels. My room was nicely updated, extremely comfortable, and the bed was fantastic. The staff was super-friendly and helpful in every way. Others have commented on the creek view. I was on the other side, overlooking the village street and mountain but didn't feel short-changed at all.

Great find in Vail. Spacious and quiet room overlooking Gore Creek, right in the middle of Vail Village. Staff were great, and was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on in a hotel for a long time. My only small complaint is that the internet service on the 3rd floor was very slow, seemed find down in the lobby. Hope to come back!!!

Walk out front-the town with shops and dining. Walk on your balcony, over look an alpine stream! Free Coffee, tea, expresso, hot chocolate and cider! Spacious room and the most pleasant and helpful staff! Beware of Vail in off season- a bit hard to find places to eat and shop. But if the sounds of rushing water and a cozy fire are your thing, just bring your own dinner!
