“Antlers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

Our group of 4 adults just returned from a week at Antlers. The hotel is in a great location...just a 300 yard walk to chairlift/gondola in Lionshead. We loved the hot tubs and pool. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. The only negative thing was that one of the bedrooms was really small....about 1 1/2 feet between end of bed and wall. It was very warm....couple had to open window to make it comfortable for sleeping. It was on courtyard side, which tended to be noisy in early am with workers coming in.

“impressed by rooms, pool, and location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

Our family stayed for two nights at Antlers and were pleasantly surprised by how nice the facility was. Our one-bedroom suite was plenty big enough for our family of four (2 kids). It had a decent kitchen, one full bathroom plus an extra sink & mirror.

The best part is the location right along the creek at Vail facing the mountain and just north of Lionshead gondola. You can walk from the resort to the lift in about 3 minutes with your ski boots on. The ski storage is very handy as is the included underground parking. Most impressive is the heated pool and hot tub. Probably the nicest hot tub in all of Vail with views of the mountain and very large.

We will definitely be coming back to Antlers.

Room Tip: request room facing the Vail ski mountain on a higher floor.

“Perfect place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Second year at the same hotel, stayed at a 3 bed, very pleasant full of space and equipments, steps to gondola! Will stay again.

Room Tip: The new ones doesn´t have the best view, the oldies are in front of the river and the mountain.

“Easy skiing for whole family”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

We have stayed at Antlers at least one week a year for the last 13 years. The condos are hit or miss as some are recently updated and in excellent condition, while others are a bit tired. We're in unit 107 which has a little too much furniture in it, toaster oven doesn't toast, but awesome fireplace and overall very comfortable! The front office staff is very welcoming and there's always coffee, cider, hot chocolate or teas as well as the days' newspapers in the cozy lobby. Very easy to store ski equipment in their storage area - has blowers to dry your boots. There is underground parking here, but spaces are VERY tight - not a great place for a huge vehicle. Good eats and shopping nearby...we'll be here again next year!

Room Tip: Ask for a newly refurbished room if possible. They do address any missing or broken items, so don...

“Worth It”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

The hotel is about a five minute walk from the Lionshead Village and Gondola. If you are skiing, do yourself a favor and leave the skis at the public valet at the bottom of the mountain. Also, the Charter Sports in the Marriott is right in front of the hotel so you can rent your gear there. Don't miss the pool and the Gore Valley Trail behind the hotel. Take the free Intown shuttles and see Vail Village too. The front desk of the hotel is very sweet and helpful. There was free coffee, cocoa, and apple cider there too. The business center is clean and great for doing a little work. Get your lift tickets there just in case there is no snow or the lifts close for weather. The rooms were nice but the 2nd bedroom is a little small. Not a lot of closet space either. Balconies are huge.
