“Close enough to the slopes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

Decided to ski Vail for a couple of days, with an overnight at Vail. Holiday Inn has a free shuttle, about 10 minutes to the slopes. Great hot tub whirlpool, sauna and outdoor heated pool for relaxing after a day exhausting yourself at 11,000 feet. Good value, and by the way, right next to a McDonalds, Safeway Grocery and lots of other mall-type stores.

“Great for multi-party, good location, comfy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012

We had 5 people stay in a bedroom/loft with a full kitchen. We were very happy. Kitchen needed a few things like salt and pepper, oil, towels, etc. So bring some from home. Good restaurants near by as well as a grocery store. Fast and easy ski shuttle. The pillows were terrible, so maybe bring your own.

“Great value and location, upgrade to the Condo if you have kids or want space and kitchen”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 December 2011

Went for labor day weekend with toddler and dog. Used priority club points for standard king room. We got there and the room was a small average hotel room with a balcony. I asked the front desk for an upgrade and initially was told I can pay $100 more per night for a condo. For whatever reason the guy comped me the condo upgrade, It was really nice and perfect for us, the baby and the dog. Full kitchen, tons of space, 1.5 bath, would have been WELL worth the $100 upgrade.
This hotel has a killer restaurant attached (Westside Cafe) and is less than a block from nice grocery and liquor stores to stock the kitchen. There's also a burger king? practically in the parking lot.

Room Tip: Get the Condo! Otherwise smallish rooms with no kitchenettes.

“Condo!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 November 2011

I highly recommend getting one of their condo suites with full kitchen, fireplace, plenty of room for the whole family! Diego at the front desk hooked it up with a nice room with a view of the beautiful mountains and pool. We loved our stay at the Holiday Inn and the Westside Cafe is the best in town, must try their green chilli, off the hook! We will definitely be back!

Room Tip: ask for a condo!

“Fall getaway-Aspen viewing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2011

The hotel is located within a short driving distance to the slopes and village. it's pricey for the type of hotel, but it's vail everything is pricey. The sushi restaurant is decent for Colorado sushi and the bar next door has a heavy pouring bartender. The front end staff was nice. The rooms could use an upgrade. If I was going skiing I probably would stay closer to the slopes.
