“This is a beautiful Victorian B&B”

We stayed here in Trinidad after attending a "Boots and Roots" concert at the top of La Veta Pass - one of the Rio Grande Scenic Railway's summer concerts. The drive from La Veta is only about an hour. The house is wonderfully restored in the historic section of Trinidad, situated on one of the brick streets. We were with a daughter and granddaughter and had the two gable rooms, sharing the bath. The bath is very large and lovely with a wonderful clawfoot tub. Those rooms are very convenient for family members traveling together. The hosts, Teresa and Kevin are sociable and helpful. Tea and cookies were waiting on the dining room table when we checked in. Breakfast was delicious cornmeal pancakes, bacon, juice and fresh fruit and excellent coffee.

“Don't breeze trough Trinidad, CO”

On our drive home to Dallas, TX from Denver, CO my husband and I decided to breakup our drive with a stay in Trinidad, CO. We could not have been more pleased to find the Tarabino Inn. The owners have out done themselves to provide warmth and comfort in this historic Trinidad home. They have brought the original home to life with just enough touches of antique furniture and accessories while including the most comfortable beds. Another fantastic characteristic is the amount of local art available for view and purchase adorning each room's walls. But the best part is owner Teresa's hot breakfast served between 8 AM and 9 AM each morning. Make time for it. In fact make time for Trinidad so you can stay at the Tarabino Inn more than one night!

“Great House”

We stay at B&Bs a lot. We lived oversees for years which is basically mostly B&Bs. This one is right in the heart of Trinidad so after you park your car, you can walk everywhere. Which we did. The room we had was great which I believe was the biggest room with private (very large) bath. We had a great view from our windows. Meet wonderful people every morning over breakfast. Enjoyed the owner (woman) of the B&B will stay there again maybe this September again.

Her cookes and coffee/tea late afternoon was fun. We brought some up to our room and I would say after 30 years of marriage, we felt romantic!!!!!!!!!!

“Tarabino Inn offers comfort, wonderful decor, and friendly owners/operators”

To celebrate a birthday, my 2 adult daughters and I stayed at the Tarabino Inn for a night. It is a Bed and Breakfast Inn. We arrived late and wished we could have spent more time enjoying the house, from the ceilings, woodwork and furnishings to the library and extensive artwork (for sale) from local artists. We stayed in the East and West Gables that are on the top floor with one bathroom, complete with a claw-foot bathtub! The beds were comfortable and the breakfast very good. There are even robes and slippers for those who need them. Everything is pleasant, from the wonderful smelling soap to the unique little nooks within the closets that lead to the gable windows - complete with pillows so one can sit and look out over Trinidad or snuggle up with a good book. We would definitely return for a full weekend or even longer!
The area offers the Santa Fe Trail, the Highway of Legends, art galleries, antique stores, and sculpture, all steeped in history. If you want a night life, this is not the place for you but if you like to stay in a comfortable, beautiful bed and breakfast in a small southwestern city, Tarabino Inn is just the right place.
