For the past 5 years we have traveled over from the Denver area and met up with family that flies in from Dallas. We bring our dogs. We are always greeted warmly and the dogs are remembered by the staff. We have never had a bad experience. And after having true "ski-in/ski-out", why would you ever do anything else? The staff works hard to develop a personal relationship with you, they anticipate your needs, and are alway courteous and helpful. Everytime we leave, we are ready to return!

Our trip to Telluride was outstanding, and a significant part of that was from staying at The Peaks. Throughout the week, we enjoyed outstanding hospitality from all staff members throughout the facility, spa, and shopping area. Not just good...outstanding. Not sure what put everyone in such a friendly state of mind, but we'll have what they're having!

The Peaks hotel itself was as nice as the staff. The room was comfortable and well kept. The gym and workout facilities were top notch, as were the pool and hot tub areas. We enjoyed a pair of very nice massages toward the end of our week there, and the relaxed feeling lasted well into the next day (the sign of a really good one).

On the day of our group's departure, we experienced a flight cancellation. The Peaks staff stepped up in the early AM hours (4AM-5AM) with logistical assistance, coffee, and light food. This wasn't asked for; it was offered and provided at no charge simply to help everyone through a tough morning. That was truly over the top in terms of service.

We look forward to another visit to Telluride, and when we do, we will definitely be staying at The Peaks.

We stayed for a week at the Peaks. It was very luxurious, and the staff was very helpful. Nice breakfast restaurant/buffet. I did not go to the hotel's main restaurant, but it looked good. Spa is spectacular - as good as it gets. Ski in/ski out -- and free ski valets. A wonderful ski trip. Rooms were spacious and beautiful and beds extremely comfortable. A minor quibble is that although the rooms were very spatious, there was not a large amount of storage space -- one large three-drawer bureau, plus a closet.

I stayed at 3 or 4 other Telluride properties including the Fairmont before discovering The Peaks. No other Telluride hotel offers the amenities needed to comfortably accommodate a family of 4. After a day of skiing or hiking, I can relax at the full service spa while the children play in the indoor/outdoor pool and the gameroom. Nothing beats ski in-ski out with a valet and the golf option is nice in the summer. Having the convenience of a full service bar/restaurant is a must. Also, the rooms are large enough for a family of 4 (2 king size beds and a large bathroom). Last year, we enjoyed 6 weekends (3 winter, 3 summer/fall) at The Peaks. What keeps us coming back so often? Yes, the amenities are great, but the attentive, friendly staff completes the package. They truely go beyond the call of duty and make every visit special.
