Just returned from a four day ski trip. Staff was friendly and the rides back and forth to the gondola were great. We didn't really need to touch our skis. Once we arrived back at the hotel, everything was taken care of. Rooms are large, hot tubs welcoming and breakfast is hearty. The little fridges and microwaves in room allow you to keep groceries and take home leftovers. Only downside was heater in the room that was the only source of heat and had was loud. Very welcoming, friendly place and would stay here again without question. Being in the town of Telluride is so much better than staying in Mountain Village and this hotel is a great option and walkable to the main restaurants.

Friend and I spent four days in Telluride for a ski weekend. The hotel was a great spot and a great deal for the money. The staff was all very welcoming and greeted us any time we walked in the door. The location was very convenient right on the main drag. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to take you anywhere in town. We used it once to get dropped off at the gondola with all our skis and equipment. Other than that we walked from e hotel everywhere else in town. Hotel offers parking for $20/day but we were able to find free street parking right across the street.

I come to Telluride at least twice a year and always stay at Hotel Telluride. I don't even bother checking other hotels in the area. Rooms are comfy, clean and spacious, food in the Nook is tasty, lobby is very cozy with a fireplace and even a guitar!!! But what makes this place #1 for me, is the staff; helpful, courteous, and always smiling.

Not a negative thing to say…Staff was wonderful. Had a 3-night stay the week before ski season opened. The staff was on top of anything we needed. Even had the ski-rental company come directly to the hotel to measure us for ski's and boots. Anywhere we wanted to go, the hotel van would drop us off and pick us up…not one long wait. Hotel was very quiet…the doors are even set to close quietly…something you don't see in almost every hotel. I almost wish I had something negative to say so people don't find out how wonderful they all were…we will be returning the same week in 2012!
