Stayed at the Hotel Columbia over the holidays. Because of the lack of fresh snow, we were able to pick up a last minute/late booking deal. The recent remodel of the hotel combined with the incredibly helpful staff and excellent location, made for a great week great! Hope you enjoy!

The management and staff at the Columbia will bend over backwards to insure their guests have a wonderful stay. Staying at the Columbia is akin to being on a high end cruise ship - the accomodation is superb (great bed), the restaurant (Cosmos) is between very good and mind boggling both with their food and wine list, and the location is the best in town for skiing or putzing around the old town or Telluride. The hotel is also pet friendly - for a nominal charge you can bring your dog and they'll even help out by walking or feeding your dog.

They also have valet parking which insures your car doesn't end up in a mind meld with a snow plow.

Check the specials offered on their website - amazing value when available - but even at retail this place is a superb experience!

We visited Telluride in the fall and this was the perfect place to stay. We were glad we were in town but the gondola was just across the street and could ride easily to Mountain Village. The restaurant is the best in Telluride!

Stayed in Telluride last week and this property is a true gem. We stayed in the king size sitting room and the room did not disappoint. There was a sitting area, cooktop, refrig and great bathroom. The breakfast was great....

This hotel is family owned and it was evident that there was a pride in the place. The two women who we liked, Mindy and the owner's daughter could not have been more helpful.

Would stay here again if we ever get to Telluride in the winter.
