“VERY NICE!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 September 2011

My husband, daughter & I stayed in the Crown Jewel Room on August 14th. Very nice size room, had a bedroom and a separate living area with a pull out sofa. We had a balcony with a view of the mountains. There's also a deck outside where we shared a bottle of wine & enjoyed the beautiful view. They have a hot tub on premises. It's a very short walk (couple blocks) to the gondola. Their breakfast was fantastic - made to order eggs, homemade blueberry pancakes, waffles, yogurt, hash browns, cereal. Coffee/tea/hot cocoa was available at any time during the day or night. Staff was friendly & accommodating!

“It's like a hostel for older people”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 August 2011

My mom and I stayed here one night and it was lovely! It's just a few blocks from the main street and the gondola.

The room was clean and in good order with a decent bed, pull-out sofa bed, TV. The bathroom and shower/sink were in separate areas, although the shower/sink area did not have a door. I suppose they are more used to couples staying here.

The breakfast was the highlight. They have a different main dish that is cooked to order (our morning it was blueberry pancakes), plus about every other breakfast option you could want, which starts at 7 am.

The woman working was very interested in making sure the guests were enjoying their stay, and came to chat at breakfast.

“In town and close to the lifts”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 August 2011

Excellent location! We walked just 2 blocks to the gondola and restaurants are all around this inn. The people working there are very friendly and accommodating and they make a mean breakfast. We didn't have time to enjoy the jacuzzi but it looked nice. Rooms are ok, nothing fancy. It was a little noisy in the am with the shuttle idling outside pretty early. They charge a fair price and i would certainly go back.

“Not a true B&B in the truest sense”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 July 2011

Guest rooms were very nice, more than adequate and meeting our expectations. However "breakfast" part of B&B was a major disappointment; only slightly better then the complimentary continental breakfast you typically get at a national chain hotel. Cold cereals were limited to two types of Cheerios, regular and colored fruit flavored; no granola, muesli, etc. Supposed fresh fruits consisted of only cantaloupe or water melon. Only one type of bread, Sara Lee english muffins. Orange juice was diluted concentrate. In general a very, very poor breakfast offering.
No afternoon traditional tea common at so many B&Bs was offered.
Suffice to say if you're looking for a true B&B look elsewhere!

“Highly Recommend Inn in Telluride, CO”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 June 2011

Terrific staff, facilities, location and breakfast at the Aspen Street Inn. Heather and Bruce made our 4 night stay lovely with good tips around town and welcoming conversation. Our room, Camp Girl (all rooms are named after local mines) had terrific space and a comfortable bed. TV, alarm clocks, shower, etc. were great. Easy walking distance to the free gondola, the main street (Colorado Ave.) and restaurants. Wonderful back deck for dining, snacks, hanging out. Lovely hot tub. Can't wait to come back to stay and then ski!
