An interesting choice if on a long driving trip to/from colorado and the midwest. The inn itself has about 10 large and luxurious rooms. Each is decorated to a different theme. The staff is
very nice and leaves you alone. A huge delicious breakfast is served, with dinner also available. The dinners were well prepared and tasted great - with a bottle of wine and a desert included. There are no choices however. If you have special dietary needs, or are a picky eater, you will not be ordering off a menu. Having food at the inn is almost a necessity, as the town of Stratton has no other choices that I could tell. Not only are there no restaurants, but nothing else to do either. The only business we saw open was a grocery store. Luckily the inn had a large assortment of movies for us to occupy our evening with. They have a theater room where you can watch the video of your choice, but the quality of the projection is very bad. Better watching on the TV setup in your room. Would definately stay here if on a driving trip, but not in my opinion a destination place. With the lack of anything to do in the area.
