Like many others, we stayed here because of a LivingSocial coupon. However, in fairness, I felt I should review the property as if we had paid full price. In looking at in terms of value received for full price, I felt it was average.
The building is very non-descript on the outside and is in the middle of a condominium development near the ski area. The person who checked us was dressed like a ski bum, jeans, ski hat on. We were first put in a room directly across from the front desk -- there is no lobby, and we could hear everyone coming and going. When we asked to be switched, first he said there weren't any other rooms, then said there was a suite, that we would have to pay extra for, but then magically discovered another room downstairs. Not very good customer service.
There were conflicting things going on at this property. There were nice things about the room, yet there were things done cheaply too. There were granite counter tops, but the vanity itself looked worn and beaten up. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were cheap and foam rubber. The back door card key lock was broken, so we couldn't get in that way. On the plus side, it was very quiet at night.
Also, we were expecting to get breakfast based on their website. Then when we arrived, there was a sign posted at the desk, saying there is no breakfast during fall months. I think at a minimum, they should say something when you make the reservation.
Would I stay here again -- probably not, especially if it was full price.
Room Tip: Ask for a room that is away from front desk.
