This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. When we checked in to our room there was no power what so ever in our room. The desk clerk said they had been remodeling and was quick to work on the problem. You would think that when they cleaned the room the maids would have notice no electricity, but wait I don't think they bothered to clean the room. The floors had not been cleaned, the toilet had mildew on it, and the room smelled terrible. We had to leave the window open our whole stay and the smell never left the room. When we finally did get power on we headed to the indoor pool, the whole reason we booked this hotel, with my 2 year old. It was freezing and my daughter wanted no part it so we tried the hot tub which was so hot I could not even leave my feet in it. The breakfast was fine but all in all this hotel was a dump. If your visiting Steamboat Springs with small children, skip the indoor pool and this hotel and go to the Old Town Hot Springs, my daughter loved it.

Not a suites, just a "comfort inn". Bathroom and hallways have ceiling tiles, another indicator its an older property. If you need to save a bit its ok to stay here but it is an aging property.

We booked the Comfort inn over the Internet not really sure what to expect, but hoping for the best. Upon arrival the gentleman greeted us at the desk and was very cutomer service orientated and had received our resevations. When taking our suitecases to our room we were pleasantly surprised by the suite, we had booked. With a family the size that we have it is usually tight and we are running into each other, so not only was it very spacious but exstremely clean. I cant express the excitment my Teenage daughter's showed with free wi-fi and the boys with the indoor pool and hot tube as well as, a well stocked Contential breakfast. So as you can see i cant say enough positive about our stay. With a family of 6 we cant say this about alot of the hotels that we have stayed in. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in the Steamboat Springs area and thanks to the staff for a warm and comfortable weekend.

I understand that people travel with pets and I'm okay with that. I also recognize there are pet friendly hotels. However, if a hotel is going to allow pets, do NOT put people without pets in a room that has been filled with dogs. The room I was assigned stank to high heaven. I opened a window hoping that would help. Well, by the time I brought my second batch of luggage in, I knew I couldn't stay in this room. Obviously a dog had urinated somewhere, recently, in the room and it had not been cleaned. (Can that smell even be cleaned?) So although I don't usually complain (I'm Canadian!), I advised the desk clerk of the odor. He was very rude and abrupt and acted like I was being too picky by asking to be moved. He did give me a new room (which was very nice), but his attitude soured the whole experience.
I also did not like the non-locking back door. Not terribly secure.
Overall disappointing for a Comfort Inn.
