Overall, this is a nice hotel. There is a charge for the fitness center, which for the charge of the room should have been included! With that said, the rooms were well maintained and clean. Very attentive bell and front desk staff. Easy in and out from the slopes, with a free ski valet - nice touch!

However, note that the hotel is scheduled for a complete remodel at the end of this ski season. They "hope to be re-opened by the beginning of next ski season"... So call to check about room availability

Comfortable rooms (ask for a slope view), friendly staff and a great ski-in/ski-out location. I wish ski.com had told me I could rent my ski equipment at the hotel too - then we wouldn't have had to carry our kit around at all! You can rent it there and they have the nicest ski valet service all included in the cost of the room. Making it a really good price, especially for the Aspen area, and a very enjoyable place for a family ski holiday.

I stayed here and absolutely loved the whole experience. The staff were delightful and the surroundings were stunning. :)

Ok - In Aspen for the weekend and booked the Sliver Tree deal on a travel website. We are bargain travelers and got a great price here because it was summer. The hotel is about a 15 minute shuttle ride from the airport so you will not be right in the hub of Aspen without taking a shuttle down town. THe rooms were nice, the beds comfy and we had a nice little deck over looking the pool with a great view of the mountain. The town shuttle picked up and dropped off right outside the hotel. The hotel is "connected" to the Snowmass Village so restaurants, bars, shopping are all right downstairs. The CONS - well it was summer time and there was really nothing going on around the area. We were looking for relaxation so we were OK. Other CON - we are bargain travels and while we got a great deal on a nice hotel - everything else in the village was very expensive.
