My wife and I and another couple have stayed in TOV condos twice before in past years. We have come back to TOV each time we came to Aspen/Snowmass because of the great location, the shuttle service, and the condition of the previous condos we'd rented. We specified the upgraded level to ensure we would be pleased again. And we were pleased for location, view, and shuttle service. The bedroom heating was broken when we checked in, but this was fixed, although the balance of heat between the two bedrooms (only one thermostat) was way off (we had to use a small space heater in the second bedroom, which was brought right away).
Expecting an upgraded interior, we were disappointed. The sofa and chairs needed to be picked up by the Kidney Foundation (sagging, very worn cushion stuffing). There weren't enough glasses or cups to go around, the blender didn't blend, and the bed quilts were heavier than any hotel's we've stayed in for years. The management didn't furnish any lotions (which we had expected in this level condo, so didn't bring). The dining table and chairs were quite nice as were the beds and bathrooms and the large flat screen TV and the gas fireplace. The unit was spacious, and there was a separate ski locker for our unit. TOV is as "ski in ski out" as you can get (back entrance directly from slopes, with elevator).
The staff was quite cheerful and helpful as in the past, and maid service came daily for bed making and bath/kitchen cleanup, but no vacuuming that we could tell (and the sofa/chairs definitely needed deep vacuuming).
Again, we reserved a pricier condo based on the lovely previous condo units, but this particular 2 bedroom unit (Leaf 602) was definitely not "gold", but below "bronze" in our estimation and definitely not typical of previous condos we've rented there.
