This hotel used to be the Best Western Colorado Lodge. New owners dropped the Best Western affiliation and did wonderful things relating to updating and cleaning up the property which is right next door to the Salida Hot Springs public pool. The motel pool and spa are excellent and the rooms are clean and comfortable. My wife and I felt very safe staying there. The rates, especially in the off season, are very reasonable. We had a king bed and the mattress was very good. We will stay here again.

room was clean,
breaksfast room clean
but typical selection oatmeal, bagel ,coffee

room rate of 56 wihtout having ot use expedia etc
was great

heat lamp in bathroom.
2 sinks, bed good,

I would advise not staying here, rooms were dirty, breakfast room was dirty, spa wasn't working. The personnel at the motel were rude and un-accomodating. Room was expensive. Plenty of other places in Salida to stay.
