We fell across this place touring Colorado on one of a few nights my husband did not have "special" reservations. We did not intend it to be a destination but did really enjoy Salida zip lines and downtown shops. Be warned if you decide to drive up the look out top mountain with Salida name on it it is treachrous and frightful. Now we stayed one night one week the one the next. Owner was creepy weird almost about renting out his best room up front with 1 1/2 story windows and king bed. Micowave and small fridge. 100$ a night was kinda steep in 9/2011. Room was very clean and bed comfy. Breakfast was fine. There are delivery places to bring food. We shopped town second time round and we do not like "box" hotel rooms so this fit our needs. We like to park right out door when staying briefly.

We stayed at the Silver Ridge Lodge for one night in August, 2011. The motel was clean and well maintained. The owners were very friendly and helpful, providing lots of information about the area. They directed us to a local establishment where we enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Our room was spacious with new beds. Breakfast was good and filling. If we are in the area in the future, we will definitely stay at the Silver Ridge again!

We stayed here this past weekend with friends in the two-bedroom suite after reading the reviews. It was immaculate, with plenty of room for the 4 of us to comfortably relax. We also appreciated the discounted passes for the Hot Springs Pool across the street--remember to bring your swimsuit and some pool shoes--and SRL will provide pool towels if you need them. We plan to return when we enjoy summer activities in the area.
