“dissapointing”

first, I will say that I got my room through priceline, so I luckily didn't pay full price. I can't understand why they put little tiny beds in big rooms. It's absolutely impossible to share a room with your teenaged children. I don't know why pueblo has such poor hotel choices. Besides being small, the beds are uncomfortable. The bathrooms are nice and the staff is friendly. The parking lot is small and doesn't feel very secure.

Room Tip: priceline 3 star

I apologize that your stay was not up to our normal standard. And I understand your issue with the double beds. The good news is that we will be replacing the double beds with Queen beds in the near future. Thank you for your comments, we appreciate the input.
Sincerely,
Dave Haning

Was booked there by my AMEX travel agent the week it opened. It is always clean and staff is nice. Prices have gone way up but still the best choice in Pueblo.

“Great value and classic Marriott quality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 December 2011

I had business in downtown Pueblo this week. The local Marriott for the bill perfectly. The rate at the time was $139 which is lower than I normally see for a full service Marriott. I ordered room service and dinner arrived just as expected. Excellent service as I have come to know with this hotel chain. The parl\king is limited and you might have to park accross the street. I arrived and found the only remaining space.

“Assault in the 5th floor hallway”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 December 2011 via mobile

I am here for two weeks and this place has completely soured my opinion of this city and hotel chain. Why you ask? I am here for two weeks training at a first responder training site, which itself is great but the hotel is run by pompous little man. So here my horror story begins early Saturday morning of December 10 at 3:00 am another hotel customer and his friends were going down the hallway on the fifth floor banging on doors waking guest being drunk and disorderly. After some complaints the front desk sent a maintenance person that may have been 100 pounds soaking wet with his clothes on to investigate he found the guest and told them to be quiet, they went to their room and must have continued drinking because at 3:30 am they were back at it. At this point a fellow fireman got up and went into the hallway and told the four guest to shut up. He was then subsequently attacked receiving a stab wound essentially, in his upper lip that you could put your finger through into his mouth and a broken foot while he was repeatedly punched in the face. His injuries required that he be transported to the hospital by ambulance for stitches and x-rays. My friend then had to wake me to pick him up at the hospital. When I arrived in the lobby, there was a homeless person passed out intoxicated and unresponsive in the lobby, paramedics arrived while I was waiting for directions to the hospital and transportef him as well. Upon returning to the hotel we went to our rooms. The truly upsetting part is that this hotel is in a bad neighborhood and they have zero security, when they found out that another friend here training with us was a law enforcement officer who was also awakened the maintenance man that they sent to deal with the situation then hid behind him. Why was this drunk and clearly homeless person even allowed into the hotel. The other upsetting fact is that all weekend long nobody from the hotel management even checked on my injured friend who had a broken foot, making it painfully difficult to leave his room to get food or any other nessecities. The only time we talked to management was Monday evening after we requested a meeting with the general manager, whom we then were informed actually lives in the hotel. He then told us that they did what they could. When we asked him if he felt the hotel had a responsibility for the safety of his guest we were told that the conversation was over. I am truly disappointed and disheartened by this and will request to stay in another hotel in Colorado Springs and deal with the twice as long commute next time It will not be a Marriot. This is not the type of service I will accept.

“Its a Ghetto”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 December 2011

I was assaulted in the hallway of the fifth floor by a person who wasnt even staying at the hotel. There is no security and no cameras. The managment refused to take liability for my safety. I received 7 stiches to my face and a broken foot. Not once did the management acknowlege my plight nor when questioned about compensation for the medical bills they claimed they had no responsibility towards me. This place is a ghetto within a ghetto. I recommend that anyone doing business in this cesspool stay in Colorado Springs and commute the extra 20 minutes.
